The Real World Roommates — Jasmine
Jasmine is a current student at Texas Southern and a former cheerleader. You can just imagine this five foot tall, ninety-five pound physique being tossed and turned in the air; a bases' dream you might say-- but don't be fooled, this half pint has got quite an edge to her at-ti-tude and is not afraid to give it to you straight up. But not everyone can hold such an edge all the time. There comes a point where people get tired of putting on a front and Jasmine is one of them. She falls easily in love, wearing her heart on her sleeve, leaving it vulnerable to crush.
Why did you audition for The Real World?
I auditioned for the Real World because I wanted to experience something new in my life and for the first time ever actually be taking out of my comfort zone; to handle real life issues on my own.
What was a typical day for you before the show?
Typical day wake up in the morning for morning classes, hang with my friends till work, then work until midnight, go straight to sleep. Do it all over again the next day!
Were you nervous to move into the house with 7 other strangers?
I was beyond nervous to move into the house, I did know how my roommates would like me, and I didn't know how I was going to like them. I was just hoping for no fights the first weekend!
In three words, how would you describe your Real World experience?
Emotional, Life-Changing, FUN
What was your first impression of each of your roommates?
Jonna:Did they pick Rhianna to live with us, I thought she had such pretty eyes! Derek:The Gay-guy, more than likely going to be my best friend of the house. Joey:He's a rocker...EXCITING Bronne:Frat Boy Emilee: She is going to be such the girl next door Ayiiia:Thats going to be party buddy, we are going to get into some trouble. We said after 5 minutes of sitting at the table we are roomies in the house! CJ:WOW....SO HOTT!!!
How did you like working with the StudentCity staff?
The staff were regular people just like me, and we are all in the same shoes right now, regardless of these cameras in our face. I got to buld some really great relationships with some of them.
What would you say are your best and worst traits?
Best: My ability to always be there for people when they need me, my dancing skills!! Worst: Over thinking everything, taking things personal to where I feel like people are attacking me.
What's your guilty pleasure?
SNICKERS...I use to hide them under my pillow all the time!
What's your favorite thing to do in Cancun?
What I love to do in Cancun is hit the beach whenever I can. I live in a desert so the ocean still fascinates me. I love to go to the clubs as well and meet new and old friends out and about. The culture there is so fun and interesting. I loved going on the jungle tours, snorkeling, exploring, and shopping at the Mercado. I loved trying new foods and the bus rides were always fun.

What's your passion? What do you do when you just need to get away from it all?
Change lives from my own experiences in my life. I would never want anyone to grow threw some of things I have been through. I like to write when I need to get away from all the drama
What are you hoping to achieve or do in the future?
I'm hoping to be a high school teacher and then one day a big shot lawyer.
