Half Puerto Rican, half African American, Christopher Lloyd, more commonly known as Lloyd Banks, is a hiop hop artist, born and raised in Jamaica, Queens. Raised by his mother, he had a difficult childhood, and began writing "ghetto-poetry" at an early age to express his emotions. Finally, Lloyd Banks joined forces with his long time childhood friend, Tony Yayo, and became a member of the G-Unit family. Impressed by their skills, the duo was signed and Banks has since worked with 50 Cent, The Game, Eminem, Fabolous, and Young Buck. He was crowned the street's #1 artist in 2003, as well as won the award for Mixtape Artist of the Year! Banks continues to be a huge success, and has spent the last few years touring the world, making appearances with 50 Cent in Cancun!
